This was a very good book. The story kept me interested from page one, I could actually visiualize the characters!!!
Great read, can't wait for part two. All i can say is wow. Team Malcolm i also like Steph. Ebony had it coming, she should've never treated Malcolm that way. He was a great dude. Loved the book. Please hurry with part two.
This was a good read. Ebony had it good with Malcolm, until she got greedy. Once Malcolm found out that she had ulterior motives, he snatched away her luxury and she ended up having to hustle just to survive. There's more to the story, but you have to read it to find out how things turn out for her.
This was a pretty good read but the title of the book really didn't seem to have much to do with the actual premise or plot of the book so I think it's a little misleading. Anyway, the writing was good and it was an interesting story but I kind of left me with mixed feelings for all of the characters especially the heroine since she was pretty damn terrible and selfish herself.
Ebony had it so made in the world. Now her mom was a piece of work. I wanted so much to tap that. Mike is really going to teach mom a thing or to. Then Ebony is so hard to reach out to her mom and then this, I would have done the same thing left and don't look back. Malcolm was a good fellow. Ebony going to regret greed doesn't get you anywhere, she will find out. Malcolm got her back on this one I can't wait till the next read.
I hope in the next book it shows more of the Jasmine and Jimmy relationship because I believe that they have more than just a brother and sister thing going on. I couldn't believe that Ebony did all that hustling just to end up working at Walmart lol. Which if she wouldn't have been being rebellious she would have had that regular job in the first place and avoided all the dangerous things that she did. Malcolm was good to her and it's sad to say it but she's getting what he feels she deserves. I can't wait to see how it all plays out!
First off let me say Malcolm is wrong! I know what Ebony did to him was just as wrong but come on now she already has it hard enough she is definitely a lost child. I hate that her mom is in a mess and hopes she makes it out alive, I hope Eb makes it out alive as well maybe she will learn some lessons along the way. Jasmine and Jimmie that is real SUSPECT.....good book ready to see how it all unfolds!
