Well, I'll probably keep reading this series as I own it all already. But if it wasn't for that I doubt I would track down the rest of the series.

So, this was less engaging because I suspect some of the appeal of the first book was that everything was all new to me. And while you are seeing things through another factions perspective in this one....it isn't enough to really keep me engaged.

The romance is dull. From the get go we know who she will end up with. There are misunderstandings and whatnot in an attempt to "keep it interesting", but it just didn't.

I don't feel this progressed the story from the first book as the climax of this story doesn't deal with much of what was touched on in the previous book. I just wish we had more direct progression toward saving this world. I feel I could have skipped this book and gone onto the third one without it being an issue and that is just annoying.

I've read this series over and over. A friend, that never disappoints me. Well crafted and a great world to visit.
Somewhat basic and simple, but it probably hits the demographic well.
I think Robin Owens has a wonderful imagination and talent for making her worlds seem real. The feelings and emotions come through loud and clear. I also can visualize the other worlds she creats. Even though they are suppose to be out there somewhere,they are not so far "out" that they don't seem accessible and believable. I have read all of her books now and not one has failed to entertain me. When I saw this one was out I snapped it up and could hardly wait to read it. I was not disappointed. I can't wait to read the continuing line in this series.
This is the second in her summoning series and as good as the first. I've read the entire series multiple times and they just get better with every read.
These 5 I think books are just as good as the early celta ones. They are my favorites. Good tales of good and evil. Choices.
Sorceress of Faith is a very likable story. The world-building is great, the characters are likable and the concepts and storyline flow through the overall series well. My only problem with this story is that I found it paced a bit slow, so sometimes I found myself skimming a few paragraphs here and there, and there wasn't much up-and-at-'em action. But that's very much to do with my taste. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in a slightly slower romance/fantasy.
Good book. I really enjoy this series, I've read all four at this time. The only negative I have on this particular book, is I've returned it three times because of pages falling out of the binding. Each one I've received as replacement has the same problem.
