As a Christian, I knew my own walk was being hindered by a new-found and unplanned loneliness. Nobody I spoke to could relate, and nobody could call me to a higher calling - but I knew Elliot could. I am so thankful for her wisdom, and her comforting words during a difficult time. Wonderful book! Love this author so much!!
Purchased this book for my mother after my dad passed away. They had been married 50 years and after a year and a half after his death my mother was still grieving as if it were day 1. She found the book to have wonderful insight and did gain some comfort. She talks about different passages often and is insisting I need to read it now ) She knows me well and promises it's something I'd thoroughly enjoy. I recommend it to anyone who has loved and lost and/or to those who are very familiar with loneliness.
